Clario is an AI-powered financial intelligence platform that helps businesses analyze financial data, generate insights, and make informed decisions. The Service includes:

• File upload and parsing (CSV, Excel, PDF, QBO)
• AI-powered financial document analysis
• Financial ratio calculations and metrics
• Interactive dashboard and visualizations
• AI chat assistant for financial queries
• Report generation and export capabilities

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

4.1 Free Plan

Our Free Plan provides limited access to the Service with usage restrictions as specified on our pricing page.

4.2 Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Enterprise) are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

4.3 Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Price changes will be notified 30 days in advance
• No refunds for partial months
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you'll retain access until the end of the current billing period.

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to breach security measures
• Reverse engineer the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service (scraping, bots)
• Share account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute the Service

6. Data Ownership and Privacy

6.1 Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to Clario. We do not claim any rights to your financial data.

6.2 Data Usage

We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your data to train AI models
• Share your data with other users
• Access your data without permission (except for support requests)

6.3 AI Processing

AI services (Google Gemini, OpenAI) process your data temporarily to generate insights. These providers do not retain your data after processing.

The Service, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by Clario and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Clario provides financial analysis tools and AI-generated insights, but does NOT provide professional financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always consult with qualified professionals for important financial decisions.

8.2 Service "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• 100% accuracy of AI-generated insights
• Compatibility with all file formats
• Specific results or outcomes

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clario shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion:

• Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• Backups may retain data for up to 90 days
• Legal requirements may require longer retention

You can export your data at any time from the Settings page.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Fail to pay for services
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse or misuse the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.
